This week on Outreach we split up into 2 vans and went out knocking doors, inviting people to church.

One van, driven by Bro. & Sis. Vowell, went down Hwy 492 toward Union, MS and hit a couple of county roads along the way. On that van was Sarah B., Karen H., Savannah C., Christine A. & Matthew H.

Bro. & Sis. Bradley drove the other van down Hwy 21S toward Forest, MS, hitting county roads that way. On that van was Drew B., Corey C., Sabrina P., Olivia P., Crystal P., Chris B., Jaiden B., Bethany B., Lexi C., Ethan B. & Rhett V.

The 2nd van pulled up to Corey Cremeen's house to pick him up to go and Olivia Putnam walked up the stairs to knock on the door and almost slid all the way back down. After they finally got on the road, they stopped at several houses to invite people to church. Along the way they stopped at a lady's house and gave her a CD. She had requested one of Pastor Copeland's messages. They gave her "The Editor", a personal favorite.

Besides sneaking up on the X-large St. Bernard, everyone had a good time. Bro. Jeffrey almost run over a power line that was down and he yelled out, "Southern Fried Outreach". Before he got it out of his mouth, everyone posted those words on Facebook.

One house that we visited, when the lady came to the door, she said that she worked with Sis. Cassie Parker and thanked us for coming by. Everyone that we talked with was very positively responsive.

After the two vans were headed back at the church, someone asked if we could all go get lunch. So, everyone that wanted to go loaded up and went to Philadelphia to eat. Everyone voted on Hong Kong Chinese Buffet.

What a Saturday!! Full of fun!!
