Fun & Pizza

With plenty of food, enthusiasm and fun, the PGPC youth assembled in the gym at 7 pm. The youth were slower to filter in as usual, however we quickly picked team for volleyball. Bro. Eric Adcock decided that “Blind Volleyball” would be more suitable.

Bro. Eric, Richard Russell, Dylan Goss and Red Breshear, stretched black fabric the length of the net, making it impossible to see the opponents court. The excitement of the ball suddenly appearing cause the youth to constantly be on alert. At the urging of Sis. Holly, not only was the net covered, but we then entered into play a second volleyball. WOW! The game quickly turned into mayhem and the teams disbursed for greener pastures, FOOD!

Bro. Stephen Adcock had supplied the youth with 17 free pizzas from Duett's. Everyone came back for seconds, thirds and some like, Matthew Hancock, came back for fourth. Bro. Floyd and Sis. Lori Bozeman were on hand to encourage and support the best youth group in the free world. And with the owners of the best sandwich deli in town, soon ranch dressing was on the table for everyone to enjoy.

After 240 slices of pizza were consumed, the youth settled down and talks of mission trips, outreach, and the new church quickly filled the air. You could feel the unity as the young men and women shared with others theirs hopes and dreams.

The night also including many of the up and coming musicians finding their way to the practice and platform instruments. We are truly blessed to have such dedicated youth learning to lead with instruments and vocals. Lauren Copeland, Savannah Copeland, Matt Hancock, Dylan Goss, Christine Breshear and Allison Lang.

PGPC is blessed to have such talented youth that have their mind made up to live for God.
